How do I work towards securing a job after graduation?
"Obvious major challenge after an MBA is securing the 'right' job. In order to find the right job important to set realistic expectations but it is also important to be ambitious at the same time. I found it useful to prepare profile for three different suitable and interesting roles when I started applying. Soon I realized that I wasn’t getting much response in one of three roles I was applying for, so I stopped applying for the same and increased my focus on the other two. It is very important to start early to allow enough time to observe the market conditions."
“ Before joining Hult I was unsure of what I wanted to do. Hult has helped me understand which areas I’m good at and which I need to work on. I now have a better understanding of what I want to do and how to get to where I want to go.Furthermore, the diverse student body at Hult combined with the focus on group work will help me succeed in today’s market place where working in international teams is the norm these days.”

Getting your doubts cleared..
Why Hult?
“ Hult is a really up-and-coming business school. Some of the other schools I considered didn’t seem to embrace the shift toward technology, innovation, and an international focus, but I could tell almost immediately that Hult understood this perfectly. The diverse student body, international locations, networking opportunities, and quality of the teaching faculty, all added to the appeal.”

and stimulating vibe—a unique learning experience.”
How effective is the corporate relations team in helping me find my dream job?
"Hult’s CR team was crucial to the success of my job hunt. Laura Cohen from the CR Team in Latin America encouraged me to apply for a position at Deloitte that a Hult alum had informed her of. After I applied Laura was always looking to follow up on the recruitment process and gave us plenty of tips for the interviews. Most of my five interviews included case studies so the sessions we had with Marc Consentino, author of Case in Point, were very helpful. I passed all of the interviews and the online tests with flying colors.
After receiving the offer, Laura put me in contact with some people with experience at Deloitte Mexico so I could ask them about the company and the country. CR and Career Services also supported me by offering me input and information about how to negotiate my salary, so I could get a better offer than the first one I received. Everything is going great here in Mexico. I’m enjoying my post-Hult life; my new job, new friends, new country, and new experiences… what more could I ask for?”
“Skills, confidence, place, time, and people . . . you get them all at Hult. Now the job is simple—connect these dots.”
“After graduating in August 2011, I worked at a boutique private equity firm in the Boston area.Following this, I was invited to be partner of a boutique strategy consulting firm, applying my expertise in M&A and finance in the Latin American region. In August 2012 I decided to return to BraziI. I’m now the MD of a boutique investment firm. I’m spearheading the wealth management area, dealing with financial planning, M&A advisory, and asset allocation. It’s been a very challenging yet rewarding career choice as I have the opportunity to apply everything I learned during the MBA.”
“My first project meeting at Hult was my most memorable. It was a case study from the ToolBox, I remember going to the meeting room for the first time and seeing that students from five different countries were there: Italy, Spain,Vietnam, India, and China. The energy, passion, and commitment to the project were very impressive. That was also the moment that I realized the kind of amazing challenge I was embarking upon.”
“ It is very inspirational to be part of such a talented class, which is made up of so many different nationalities. The real-life examples and insights that classmates bring into class are truly valuable. Thanks to Professor Tom Porter, I have come to love accounting, something I never thought possible. His way of showing us how accounting is applicable to our daily lives is truly inspirational.”
“ After graduating I plan to join a social business here in the Bay Area and be involved in business development. In the long run, I hope to have a business of my own which reaches out to other countries and helps improve the life that people are leading there. I think the best thing about Hult is the international experience it offers students. As long as I am clear about what I want to do, my professors and classmates will help me get there.”

Hult is the new disruptive business school with a long tradition. It flaunts the changes you have been looking for. It gives you the vocational practical training for handling and solving situations through a framework. The school curriculum has gone through an evolution with embracing technology into the teaching. Hult is the new revolution in educational system which is changing the system of imparting wisdom. It’s just not another B-School.

My experience so far has been brilliant, to say the least. A lot of the courses offered are definitely challenging, make no mistake. They are challenging not because of the course material, but because of the schedule. It is purely dependent on the student to make time and finish his assigned coursework which includes assignments, pre-readings as well as exam prep. Module A and B are definitely heavy and intense, so I would say that any prospective student should prepare themselves mentally and physically.
My classmates have been some of the best students from all over the world, and when you compete with them, you are competing with the whole world. This feeling is truly unique to Hult and when you pass out, you can proudly say that you were the cream among the cream. You also learn a lot of cultural practices, you understand the different working styles of different people from around the world. This prepares you and propels you to a mark above the other graduates from other Business schools as you not only have fundamental knowledge of different business subjects, but also you innately understand different cultures from very close.
Working in a truly international team has helped me understand the advantages/shortcomings of different nationalities and how to get the best out of each one with their limitations in mind. This definitely gives me the confidence that I can get a job in any part of the world with this International education.
Ipad has played an important part in my quizzes and I consider them lucky! On a serious note, Ipad helps me skim through pages of text really soon, something which I would not be able to do on a lap-top.
Professors at Hult have been truly top-class, they bring with them a very international mindset and this helps us leverage our knowledge to Global standards which can only be good. This in one of the strengths of Hult, as flying faculty give us the best in terms of international education, ideas and policies.
